TECHNICAL TIPS:Send in your questions or helpful hints to be shared with all.
V 4.07A - Having trouble loading the word processor on your disk? Try doing
LOAD"WP",8,1 then SYS64738. It might work! - Ed.
V 5.00 - Just got another copy from Hungary. More complete than the copy
from the Netherlands. Has notes regarding the 1581 drive. More next month.
DP NOTES: by B.O. Lowery (W4NLG @ WA3SFX.FL) 1 Lopez Lane, Key West, Fl 33040
"...V5.00, like V3.51, has RESET and recovery with SYS2064. This is handy
for more than one reason. On V3.51 and 3.60, I used an ASC in AUTOEXEC to
put UTC following time on the status line. V5.00 has flushed ASC and my
efforts with MEM were unsuccessful. However, if you want UTC, EDT or what-
ever, do this: Load V5.00. RESET. Now make three POKES with 85, 84, and 67.
Pick your numbers from SCREEN CODES. Do SYS2064. Now when you enter CLOCK
you will see HH:MM-UTC--. Related locations differ in V5.00 from 3.60, as
I found with a DUMP ASC program." 73 de B.O.
NEXT MONTH: V5.0 German "readme" file translated!
